Its Tiger’s Wife’s Fault He Cheated?

Woods AccidentSo, according to word on the street, Tiger is up to mistress number 9!!  I mean they have only been married a little over 5 years.  That’s a whole lot of cheating if you ask me. 

I don’t agree with all the mess in the media saying Elin is at fault for all of Tiger’s cheating.  However, I do say she did have a hand in the situation and is not blameless. 

Communicate Kids

In a relationship things can get stale.  Its hard to maintain the desire and flame you once felt for a person.  I mean we are human.  The thing I blame both parties for is an apparent lack of communication. 

Tiger knew he wasn’t getting whatever it was he needed sexually and probably emotionally from his wife.  I mean no one has a mistress for extended periods of time without forming some emotional connection.   The problem is that he probably never spoke up to his wife to let her know what he felt was missing.   No, he didn’t have to be mean or harsh about it but there are artful ways to suggest things to your partner.   I am not sure that this occurred here.

Elin is also at fault because we women can feel a difference when we don’t have all of our partner anymore.  Either she turned a blind eye or she never tried to talk to her partner to find the root of the problem.

Truth Hurts

The truth hurts but sometimes we need to face it.  Deep down we are all a little freaky, ( I think the media has influence or requires us to be so- another post for another day) and yes we are all emotional and need that human connection.   To me 9 women screams a lack of communication or a lack of fire felt in the marriage.   Ignoring the problem, as you can see, only made it worse.

Sex is Just Sex?

Some men are screaming that a nut is a nut, and Tiger was just getting his rocks off.  I don’t agree,  he formed an emotional connection with these women and was dating them in spans of over a year.  To me, he had little quasi-relationships with all of these women.   So, sex can’t just really be sex.  There is an underlying feeling Tiger wanted to achieve and sought it out in other women. 

 Maybe Tiger shouldn’t have married her in the first place.

If somoene is cheating is it because they are missing something in their relationship?

    I don't know what Tiger "wasn't getting" from his wife. But I do know that men who are "chain cheaters" aren't in it because the wife is not doing something. Some men cheat simply because they can. An opportunity will present itself, and a man will either resist, or he'll go for it.

    Depending on what Tiger "needs", who's to say that any one woman can be that? Tiger is a professional athlete. Not all of them cheat, but I would bet my life the vast majority do. They have women (and men) ready and waiting to do whatever, whenever. That's hard to handle (for the most upstanding men), and if a man isn't prepared to walk away from some intense temptation, it's better for everyone that he remain single. Most of these guys have no business getting married. They like the idea of having that "one" woman they can always count on to be around, and they want children. But they don't want the sexual restrictions.

    Now, as far as his wife is concerned: A lot of women know what they're getting from day one, but they think things won't be as bad. They think they can handle the other women, or they're real foolish and think they can tame a wild one.

    Nobody really knows what goes on in another person's marriage.

    I have been trying not to watch coverage of this because, well there are more important things going on. I have disappointed that ESPN is giving this more coverage than 1990s OJ. Whether the "transgression" was sending text, phone conversations or actual sex with a mistress, let the family work it out.

    For the questions, I think Tiger and his wife did not anticipate things changing once they had children. I know a few brothers who have rocky relationships while dating and then think that it will get better once married. Baby makes to much. For Tiger, it is evident that he has no best friends because they have his business in the streets. I guess his dad was really is only true friend.

    Cheating depends on the person. Do they just never have a chance to change out of the party mindset (or been in it). It could be two that someone is playing on another's weakness (they little things not happening in the relationship).

    Lastly, sex is just sex if a person just uses it as a tool, to get a quick fix. If you can tell the person your with to leave right after the deed is finished, you really don't care about them, then sex is just sex.
