Two Week Workout Plan

Beat That Plateau!No, I know you cannot change your weight in two weeks.  Rome wasn’t built in a day and you have to chisel away all those Gyros and Cheesteak building blocks that make the current you.  However, in the spirit of the swiftly approaching SpelHouse homecoming, I wanted to give those few stragglers who couldn’t get their situps in over the last few months some hope and a goal to shoot for. 

Exercise – Start Doing things the hard way – You don’t really need those two a days you have been planning.  Start doing things the hard way.  While dress shopping for that killer dress or blazer, park your car at the end of the parking lot.  Stop using the elevator lazy pants!  Take the stairs for the next two weeks.  Those few extra steps or you pushing yourself will make all the difference in your regime. 

Try to hit the gym at minimum 3 days a week for an hour each day, 5 times a will will do you even better.  Do NOT kill yourself and chain yourself to the treadmill for the next 2 weeks.  You will pass out and it will be all your fault. 

Start moving and you will be amazed what will fall off.

Eat Right – So you want to lose weight quickly huh?  Well cut out all those sodas, juices, and fizzy bubbleh that you swill down each day.  Get back to the au natural of water.  You need about 64-100 oz a day to flush out the toxins keeping you fat, keep you hydrated while you work out, and to prevent the evil beast called water weight. Water regulates your body.  Juices and sodas are full of carbs…and all the bad evil carbs.  Do yourself a favor and stay on that water for 2 weeks.  It will clear your skin and get you right for all that alcohol you are about to consume. 

High Protein Diet- Research has shown that a diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates (bad ones that is) helps you lose weight so much faster than with exercise alone.  What does this mean?  Cut out all that bread you are eating.  High protein diets means the white meat… ie chicken, fish, turkey, and pork.  If you really want to get your weight loss jump started make fish your friend for the next two weeks.  You will be amazed with your results!

Get some Rest !!- It is tempting to push yourself to your limits (both in exercising and dieting) when your target is to lose a few pounds in two weeks. But you should resist temptation since this practice can lead to more harm than good. Ensure yourself with enough rest each day during the strenuous two weeks. Your body will definitely need it.

Don’t Starve Yourself – the most surefire way to fail at dieting is to starve yourself.  Your body starts to feed on your muscle, turns to fat, and you risk other health problems.  Just hit the gym and eat right and you will do fine!
