Can You Turn A Hoe Into A Housewife?

karrine1Can you really turn a hoe into a housewife?  Can you really forgive your boo’s slutty ways, marry them, and ride happily off into the sunset?

Allegedly, Superhead, aka Karinne Steffans has officially locked down her on again off again boyfriend Darius McCrary (Eddie Winslow of Family Matters fame) into marriage.   According to MediaTakeOut, Superhead is claiming she “got saved… got married… and the got pregnant.” “Darius and I have always been married whether it’s spiritually or legally, we’re married on both levels; legally, on paper, signed, sealed, delivered.”

Even if you never  read Confessions of a Video Vixen in 2005, and The Vixen Diaries in 2007, you are well aware of Superhead’s personna.  The former music video and  adult-film- star star’s photo might as well be plastered right under the work Ho in Websters due to her own self reported sexual exploits with many famous partners.

So lets flip the Superhead and Eddie Winslow situation to discuss a close to home topic.  Your boo is the neighborhood/school bathroom phone number or just a tad bit promiscuous in your hometown circle.  Can you really forget, forgive, and move past your partner’s sordid and heavily discussed sexual past?  So they have gone to church and are saved does that change how your friends really see them?

Doesn’t every man want a little hoe in their woman?  Where else did this lady in the streets freak in the bed talk come from?  Someone had to teach her a trick or two.  For example, everyone knows the girl from college that every dude hit was the first one to get married. Or the chicks who gave “brain” to the whole football team had rings before graduation.  Those “loose booty women” all ended up with boyfriends and husbands.  So apparently the fact that they wore “Open For Business signs” didn’t matter because, like Karrine, they now have a rock on their finger while some of  the women who wore chastity belts are ringless.

Is there a double standard?  We always hear about the hoe and assume they are female and judge harshly as a result.  What happens when Slutty-McNasty is a man?  Are we much more likely to forgive his past because he is a man getting it in and sowing his royal oats?

Can you turn a hoe into a housewife?

Does someones past determine their future?

Is there a double standard for hoing?

If Superhead can find someone to love her and look past all her exploits, why is it so hard for the rest of us to find love?

I don't think a man can turn a hoe into a housewife but I do think a hoe can turn herself into one. I laugh when I see a man take a blantant freak and try to domesticate her and bring her around his family and wonder why no one can get along with her. It's because she is not interested in impressing or getting along with his family, he only objective is to get some good wood and keep it moving. Quality relationships are not her forte', as a matter of fact she does not know how to have a quality relationship. The men who are interested in these women are selfish because they are more focused on instant gratification and a good "nut". My philosophy on this topic is, if a woman won't put herself up on a pedestal, then why should I?

To me it's more about how you deliver your "hoish escapades". Did I find out from tv and your book, or did you discuss them with me in a candid conversation on the past. I can accept someones promiscuous past, because I am no angel. But i would never drop names and brag about it to the world. Thats the difference. 'Eddie Winslow' just reminds me of one of our homeboys we always talk about. The one that 'wifeys' the girl after we just ran a 'train' on her. lol. This is not uncommon. Bill Maher was with her before and he did'nt seem to mind, but he was living his fantasy of being with a black woman.

There is always a double standard. You just have to find someone with an pen mind and discuss the past with some class. Don't be like I fucker her/ him .......... Just me honest and candid in your explanation, if you choose to disclose it. If not leave the past in the past. I won't ask you if you don't ask me.

People get lonely. Especially when you are a public figure. When you have so many good qualities its easy for people to look past your mistakes. They always say there is somebody for everybody. Its true, because I don't think anyone was put on the earth to be alone. You may feel like you are ready, but the only one that knows for sure is the Lord. He will bless you with what you need when he knows you are ready. (Preach Pastor). Love is not about not being alone. Its about accepting the other persons faults and knowing they accept yours. Selfless, emotional, spiritual surrender for the betterment of the relationship. (Preach sir). Amen

yea. sure you can. i just won't be the one to do it. enough breezies out there in the world that i won't have to worry if half the room smashed my wife.
  • Hey if Danger can smash the homies and still have a shot at love..... I kid I kid.

I am apprehensive about this situation. If a person was that promiscuous (male/or female) their past will always come up and rear its ugly head. I think it would take a secure person both secure in their relationship and secure with themselves to take on such a task. Otherwise, trust will always be a factor and you may feel like you are constantly looking over your shoulder.

I do think men have an unfair advantage in the hoation department. I agree with you John. You have to stop allowing that bed post dude into your house. Sometimes we get so excited about a prospect we don't think about the ramifications on our lives.

I really don't want to hold a persons past against them. But I think no matter how you try, under these circumstances, you will always be "that girl/dude."

Can you turn a hoe into a housewife?

No, but they can turn themselves into a housewife. It really requires a desire on the part of the woman to change for herself, and not necessarily for the man. I am one that truly believes that no one is beyond redemption...

Does someones past determine their future?

Yes and no. Yes in that your past may rear it's head for future endeavors, no because you can always work past them. I believe you can turn a hoe into a housewife just as much as you can turn a dog into a good husband. The issue is who is willing to take on that challenge (both for the one who is trying to make a change and for the one who is dating that person.

Is there a double standard for hoing?

Maybe, but only because women are allowing the double standard to persist. If you took a man to task about his past exploits, then the double standard wouldn't exist. If you tell yourself (and the men that are trying to date you) that you won't put up with whoring, or that if a man has been a whore that you will not be as interested, it wouldn't persist. Stop allowing men to come to you with so many notches on his belt and jumping into a relationship with him without vetting him a bit, and the double standard will not be so unfair.

Every woman has a little bit of ho in them. Every woman has been someonne's bust it baby at some point in time. Many women have used men for sex just like men use them. Hey we were all young and dumb once right. Just because someone made bad decisions during one phase of their life doesn't mean that they should never be loved or never marry.

Yeah, every dude wants a little whorish behavior tucked away in the back somewhere. Relationships should be about what you experience with that person and not about external evaluations. As soon as you let other people into your relationship is when problems begin. You cant help who you love.
