Product Review: Lustrasilk Shea Butter and Mango

lustrasilk-shea-cholesterol-mangoLadies, I am in love again.  Who knew these cheap products would do such wonderful magic on my hair!!   I used to use Cholesterol products on my hair as a relaxed girl and I have no idea why I stopped using what worked for me.  I used the Cholesterol and mixed it with my deep conditioner.  When I rinsed out my hair with lukewarm water, my hair was butta baby!! 

I also put a tad bit more as my leave in conditioner and proceeded to put my hair in my current-twist out style. 

OMG!!!  When I took out the twists my hair was moisturized and stayed that way in the horrible, cold, and dry Vegas weather.  *No kiddies, Vegas is not 120 degrees right now, we do live in the Northern Hemisphere and Vegas is not located in Africa*

I have tried this product several times and fully support using it.  Between Herbal Essence Hello Hydration and Lustrasilk, I have received more compliments than ever before on my natural do.

The Best Part it only cost me $2.99 at Sally for a gigantic tub of it.  Hooray for cheap products.

    I go through a jar in almost a month during the really hot summer months. I use it dor a leave in conditioner and my hair eats it up like crazy. I have very long kinky 41 hair, so it loves it. My hair grows like weeds during the summer so I love the stuff. You are so right about the twist outs. I twist out my hair every so often and I do use this stuff to condition my hair.

    Just wondering, what texture is your hair? I ask this only because I find sometimes stuff I use doesn't jive well with people whose curl might be a little loser and vice versa. That Lustrasilk sounds great though. Set it off with a heating cap and you'll be good to go.

    I'm right there with you on the Hello Hydration that stuff is great but the Lustrasilk as a leave in....oh no doesn't work for me. That stuff had my hair looking dull. Like someone had sucked the life right outta my hair. I had to put a coat of oil over my entire head from root to tip in order to get it back to normal. By the end of the week I had a quite a bit of build up.

    On a good note that stuff had my baby hair on point!!!!! Had me looking like Chilli from TLC
