Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Battery And Breaking Rihanna’s Jaw?

Straight from several news sources here is some info for you. Los Angeles police have confirmed Brown, 19, is being investigated for felony domestic battery. Sources tell E! News that the alleged victim was Rihanna, 20, and that she had visible bruises on her face. Both bailed on their scheduled Grammy performances. Aspokeswoman for Brown’s label declined comment.

Rihanna’s publicist, Amanda Silverman, would only tell E! News that the 20-year-old “Disturbia” singer was involved in a traffic mishap and “is fine.”

Per department policy, police are declining to identify the alleged victim. Investigators are attempting to track down Brown.

 The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. Earlier in the evening Brown and Rihanna were all smiles while attending Clive Davis‘ annual pre-Grammy bash together.

In a statement, police say Brown and his companion ”became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.” By the time officers arrived on the scene, Brown had split.

“When we can find him we will take him into custody for questioning,” says Officer Karen Smith, an LAPD spokeswoman. “If there is probable cause for an arrest, then he will be arrested.”

Sources have been reporting that Rihanna is the possessive and crazy around the collar part of the ChRihanna.  Rhianna has been reported as having problems letting Brown out of her sight for even a tiny moment.  “If Chris isn’t with her, she wants to call and check in every second. She’s crazy about him. Rihanna constantly talks about Chris,” the source added.

Heck the pair were just rumored to be engaged. 

Regardless of any possessive problems Rihanna has that is no excuse for Chris using his pimp hand.  You would think with all that grease in his hair he would have problems leaving marks  (we kid we kid). 

7:50  TMZ reports Chris Brown turned himself in and is being questioned by detectives. 

[Updated 8 p.m.] Brown arrived at the Wilshire Division station about 7:15 p.m., accompanied by his attorney Mark Geragos and Geragos’ investigator Scott Ross. The pair drove into a parking lot behind the station on Venice Boulevard, east of La Brea Avenue, in a black Escalade. Brown and the man entered through a back door where a posted sign stated for “authorized personnel only.” Police are expected to release a statement later this evening.

[Updated 8:17 p.m.] R&B singer Chris Brown has been booked tonight on suspicion of making felony criminal threats in connection with an incident involving his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna, according to Los Angeles Police Department sources familiar with the case.

Brown was being booked at the Wilshire Division station and is expected to post $50,000 bail for felony battery, sources said.

[Updated 11p.m] Rumor has it that Chris broke Rihanna’s Jaw.

This sounds just like that limo ride in Whats Love Got To Do With It.  Don’t tell me Chris and Rihanna are Ike and Tina.
