The Dating Rotation: Who’s On Your Team?
Have Your Cake And Eat It Too?
How many folks do you have on deck? Is there such thing as dating too many people?
I used to think that this was a problem just shown by men with the attention spans of fruit flies powered by the Energizer Bunny in the front of their saggy jeans. However, women have wizened up and are “dating around” too.
When men are growing up, they play PeeWee Football and learn a little teamwork in Little League. They also learned the value of playing your best talent and having a good rotation, a skill best used when they grow into men and join the dating pool. This idea has been passed along to women and now everyone is running their own Fantasy Football League of dating.
Everyone has their starting lineup of MVPs, then Second String, who like you just a little more than you like them, and finally the Romantic Replacements, who are kept in a holding pattern and warming the bench singing “Put Me In Coach”
MVP’s usually provide mind blowing sex, or have that it factor making them stunna material. You just want to give them a shoe deal or let them have a movie deal or something every time you see them.
Second String players are your back ups when the MVP has cussed out the coach, blown out their knee, or for some reason are our on a Bye. They have a twinge of MVP quality, but something in their game hasn’t fully developed in the playbook.
Bringing up the rear are the Romantic Replacements- these are the pinch hitters, or bench warmers. When the MVP is not returning your calls and Second String is out of town, guess who is on deck?? Romantic Replacements are hungry and will drop everything for a little bit of playing time with hopes to get their talent showcased.
Teams Aren’t Cute -There Is Such A Thing As Dating Too Many People
Talent Development Is A Must - How can you ever learn about anyone if you never really focus on one person? If you find an MVP why not focus on that talent and develop it? Everyone is going to have their faults. You are not perfect and neither are your dates. If you keep splitting up your time, how will you ever learn about anyone? You might diversify your stocks..buuut..that option might not be the best look in dating
One Man/Woman’s Romantic Replacement is Another’s MVP - You usually know within a few dates if you could see yourself with a person. Stringing along someone with no chance at playing in the big leagues is lame. You are like that kid on the playground that refuses to share a toy because you might want to play with it later. Grow up. Focus on the Big Leagues and quit feeding people pipe dreams and playing with their emotions.
Umm AIDS and STD’s Are Real - Don’t Let Magic Johnson fool you. Sex with a bunch of random people lets you end up on Maury or headed to the pharmacy. Both are not a good look.
